Thor, heartbroken over his father's disapproval of Jane Foster, is driven from Asgard by Heimdall. Furthermore, a displeased Odin strips Thor of half his power. Loki seizes this opportunity and reaches into the future to pit Zarrko against Thor. Thor is forced to pledge his servitude to Zarrko to avoid the destruction of the 20th century. Jay's Notes:

Thor subdues the 23rd century Earth for Zarrko. The world, at Thor's advice, surrenders. Zarrko grows overconfident and releases Thor from his vow. Thor then turns the table on Zarrko and defeats him. |

Odin, adviced by Loki, sends the Enchantress to Earth hoping that she can turn Thor's heart from Jane. The Enchantress is unsuccessful and she calls upon the Executioner who attacks Thor. Thor banishes them both back to Asgard. Jay's Notes:

Odin travels to Earth, leaving Loki as interim ruler, and hopes to persuade his son to leave Jane. Loki frees the fire demon, Surtur, and the storm giant, Skagg. They proceed to rampage on Earth. Odin, Thor, and Balder engage them in battle and are triumphant. Jay's Notes:

The Cobra flees from Thor and stumbles upon Mr. Hyde. They decide to join forces against Thor. They use a time reversal ray and discover that Thor has ties with Dr. Blake. Blake is held hostage until he tricks them and transform into Thor. They battle until they get Mjolnir from Thor's grasp, which leaves the Thunder God only 60 seconds to defeat them! |

Thor is forced to withdraw as he transforms into Dr. Blake. He then tricks Mr. Hyde and Cobra and changes back into Thor. He defeats them but Hyde escapes. Thor tracks him down and takes him on one-on-one. Mr. Hyde is defeated and turned over to the police. |

The Grey Gargoyle travels to America in hopes of learning the secrets of Thor's immortality. He draws Thor into battle and turns the Thunder God into stone. Fortunately, Thor transforms into Blake and is restored to flesh. Blake tricks the Grey Gargoyle with an image projector and traps him under the river. Jay's Notes:

Thor rescues Dr. Strange and Blake helps nurse him back to health. Then, Loki tricks Blake and takes his cane as well as kidnapping Jane. Blake calls upon Dr. Strange, who helps him retrieve his cane. Together, Thor and Dr. Strange defeat Loki and free Jane. Jay's Notes:

Magneto makes his presence felt in NY and that draws the attention of Thor. Magneto offers Thor membership in the Brotherhood of evil, but attacks him the moment he refuses. Thor gains the upper hand in the battle and to make matters worse for Magneto the X-Men arrive, forcing him to flee. |

Loki recruits Cobra and Mr. Hyde in his newest campaign against Thor. They kidnap Jane and Thor sees the mastermind behind this plot is Loki. Thor defies his banishment to confront Loki in Asgard. He learns where they have taken Jane and he battles through Cobra and Mr. Hyde to rescue her. Jane is mortally wounded and Thor whips up a time warp to keep her condition stable while he resumes his battle. |
