Sub-Mariner # 1: "Years of Glory .. Day of Doom!"

Synopsis:
Destiny gloats over the defeat of his arch-enemy, the Sub-Mariner, and how he will strip Namor of his memories and leave him a derelict. Destiny also implants false illusions in Namor's mind about the destruction of Atlantis. Years later (circa Fantastic Four #4), the Human Torch revives Namor and the Fantastic Four must stop him from destroying the surface world which he blames for the destruction of Atlantis.

Synopsis:
Namor destroys Destiny's long abandoned base and sets out to find him. Unfortunately, he crosses paths with the Plant Man who uses him as a pawn against the Inhuman Triton. They battle it out long enough for Plant Man to capture both of them.

Sub-Mariner # 3: "On a Clear Day You Can See... the Leviathan!"

Synopsis:
The Plant Man unleashes his monster dubbed the Leviathan on England. Triton and Namor escape but are bound together and do their best to contain the Leviathan. They destroy it and foil the Plant Man's scheme. Namor resumes his quest for his arch-enemy Destiny.

Sub-Mariner # 4: "Who Strikes for Atlantis?"

Synopsis:
The Atlanteans are wander in search of a new home and are attacked by Attuma and his barbarian hordes. Barbarian scouts bring Namor to Attuma's court where Namor challenges Attuma. With a bit of help from Lady Dorma, Namor defeats Attuma and forces the barbarians to flee.

Sub-Mariner # 5: "Watch out for... Tiger Shark!"

Synopsis:
Namor stumbles into a bizarre experiment to restore the aquatic talents of an injured Olympic swimmer, Todd Arliss and becomes part of the experiment. Dr. Dorcas taps into Namor's natural powers and those of sharks to change Arliss into Tiger Shark. Namor battles Tiger Shark and is defeated. Tiger Shark takes Lady Dorma prisoner.

Sub-Mariner # 6: "...And to the Vanquished... Death!"

Synopsis:
Lady Dorma is forced to lead Tiger Shark to the Atlantean encampment where he  seizes control. Namor travels to the encampment and challenges Tiger Shark. They battle and Namor emerges triumphant and regains his throne.

Synopsis:
Namor and Dorma travel to the surface to tell Tiger Shark's sister that he is still alive. On the surface, Namor uncovers Destiny's plot to overthrow the world. Namor confronts him and during their battle Destiny is killed.

Synopsis:
Namor and Diane Arliss nurse Lady Dorma back to health. Namor tells of another woman he loved, Betty Dean, whom he met decades ago and had prompted him to fight against the Nazis in WW2. Meanwhile, the Thing is hired to deliver Destiny's Helmet of Power to Washington and Namor intercepts him because he doesn't want anyone to use it. Their battle rages on until an older Betty Dean appeals to Namor. Namor catches the Thing off guard and flees with the helmet.

Sub-Mariner # 9: "The Spell of the Serpent!"

Synopsis:
Namor leaves with Lord Seth to find the Herb of Healing to help restore Tiger Shark to human form. Unfortunately, the Helmet of Power transforms into its true form, the Serpent Crown, and takes control of Dorma and the rest of the Atlanteans. Namor fails in his quest to help Tiger Shark and returns and is attacked by his own mind-controlled people. He takes the Crown from Dorma and puts it on. He gets visions of the early origins of his people.

Sub-Mariner # 10: "Never Bother a Barracuda!"

Synopsis:
Karthon the Questor battles Namor for the crown and is defeated. He reveals to Namor the history of the Serpent Crown and of the mad tyrant Naga. Unfortunately, Captain Barracuda captures them both on his way to steal an atomic weapon. Namor frees himself but must decide to pursue Karthon who has fled with the Serpent Crown or stop Captain Barracuda's atomic torpedo!

Sub-Mariner # 11: "The Choice and the Challenge!"

Synopsis:
Namor stops Captain Barracuda's torpedo but the Navy attacks him believing him to be responsible for the attack. Captain Barracuda slips into the Naval base, under the confusion of the battle and steals the "Sonic Magno-Directoid". Captain Barracuda makes the mistake of activating it and a torpedo meant for Namor destroys Barracuda and his vessel.


 
 
Sub-Mariner # 12: "A World Against Me!"

Synopsis:
Namor catches up with Karthon but Karthon defeats Namor and controls him with strange sea pod fumes. Karthon returns to Lemuria with the Serpent Crown and gives it Naga. Namor awakens from the pod's spell and battles Naga and his illusions. During the battle, Naga places Dorma in danger and Namor accidentally kills her.

Synopsis:
Naga defeats the enraged Namor and puts him up against the Weapons Man From the Abyss. Namor is up to the challenge and Naga unleashes Gargantos. Namor forces Naga to destroy Gargantos, and then he challenges Naga himself. Naga reveals that he didn't kill Dorma but rather Karthon's sister. Karthon, blinded by rage, kills Naga and leads the people of Lemuria into an era of peace.

Sub-Mariner # 14: "Burn, Namor ... Burn!"

Synopsis:
Namor investigates unnatural volcanic activity and is attacked by the Human Torch. Namor learns that the Human Torch is under the Mad Thinker's control. Namor defeats the Human Torch and frees him from the Thinker's control. They team up to stop the Mad Thinker's latest scheme. They defeat the Thinker and destroy his machinery. The Human Torch learns that he's actually Toro, the Torch's former sidekick, and dies stopping the Thinker from escaping.
